Our Story/ Company History
Carousel was founded in 2023 Viola spent a long 14 year in the mortgage industry. After serving in the military Viola went to work at a mortgage screening firm where she learned how to screen potential applicants for a mortgage, making sure they were not only interesting in buying a home but they were also qualified. There she learned that although many applicants were both qualified and interested that didn’t necessarily mean that they were going to get approved for their mortgage thus closing the door to their American dream of home ownership.

After a successful stint as Chief Operations Officer of the company Viola opened up her own mortgage brokerage and sought to help those who were both qualified and interested in a mortgage but would not get approved without manual intervention. It was here that she learned that the technology of the times was not suited to address these edge cases and began to develop the software needed to address this population of borrowers and sought out to improve on the home buying experience not only for the borrower but for all professionals involved in the home buying process and that is where Carousel Technology was born.
Carousel is one simple tool that hosts all the stakeholders, fosters communication, reduces risk and mortgage denials, increases revenue and streamlines the home buying process all from A to Z.
